Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Web Engineer to join our team. Your role at Legisletter will involve developing and maintaining our platform, playing a key part in our focused mission to improve civic engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Next.js, React, Typescript, Tailwind CSS, MySQL.
- Collaborate within a small team to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure high-quality code through writing automated tests and performing code reviews.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Next.js, Typescript, Python, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with Prisma, PlanetScale and Vercel.
- Passion for writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Experience writing tests for software - unit, integration, end-to-end, etc.
- Knowledge of OpenAI API, Open Source LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), etc. is a plus.
